I’ve often laughed by the statement “running around like a chicken with its head cut off”. As a little boy my grandpa, who lived on a farm, told me they don’t die instantaneously.
What in the world does this have to do with MKE?
People seem to follow one of two philosophies in life. Some are runners…some are thinkers.
The runners are often on autopilot, doing lots of things because they formed the habits society inbred in them without knowing why. Get a good education, get married, get a good job, have a family, try to stay out of debt. Then when things don’t work out as planned…they often just grow tired and frustrated. As Thoreau put it in Walden “The mass of men live lives of quiet desperation.”
Even when things work out well for the runners…at best they are living a life of lucky happenstance, not one based on their unique dharma. Not a life a choice and growth. It is a life of linear progression, not one of exponential leaps.
But I’ve discovered it doesn’t have to be that way. Through the MKE we are learning to be self-directed thinkers.
The advantage of becoming a self-directed thinker (discovering our purpose/dharma, choosing to re-frame our subconscious mind so it is aligned with and supportive of manifesting our bliss) is that we can choose to make the transformational leap into true abundance and the flow. A life of substance yet driven by least effort.
I”m looking for a life that is less complex, less stressful, yet one of significance in being of service to others. I sometimes characterize my ideal as “more life…less work” and other times as living a life of “5-day weekends”. It’s not that I desire to avoid strenuous work…just that all effort should be purposeful and directed to a specific end. Done in a way that I’m enjoying the experience, benefiting others as well as myself.
I’m told that once we make this leap to a higher state of consciousness, in vibrational harmony with Universal Spirit, anything we truly desire is possible.
From Haanel MKS 7/18: “Make the mental image; make it clear, distinct, perfect; hold it firmly; the ways and means will develop; supply will follow demand; you will be led to do the right thing at the right time and in the right way.”
I’m choosing to be able to live a vitalized life on specific purpose…rather than an exhausted one without purpose.
Peace and prosperity be the journey, as the ripples in my wake continue to radiate.
